Kurukshetra lies at a distance of 90 kms from Chandigarh. The importance of this place lies in the fact that the war of Mahabharata was fought on this land. This is the place where lord Krishna preached Bhagwad Gita to the Arjuna at the time of war, so it is famous for its religious importance.

During your visit to Kurukshetra don’t forget to visit Brahma Sarovar, Sannihit Sarovar, Jyotisar, Valmiki ashram, Sthaneshwar Mahadev. It is well connected by road from Delhi, Chandigarh, Amritsar and Panipat. It takes around 1 hr 50 mins. to reach Kurukshetra from Chandigarh by road.

Morni Hills is a hill station in the Panchkula district of Haryana. It is at a distance of 45kms from Chandigarh. Located in the Panchkula district of Haryana, Pinjore is 20kms away from Chandigarh It takes around 30 mins. to reach here from Chandigarh by road. During few past years it has emerged as an important tourist attraction. It is well known for its gardens popularly known as Pinjore gardens or Yadavindra gardens.

Spread over 100 acres of lush green land, Pinjore gardens are based on the Charbagh-style gardens, the style that is also found in other places which are a witness of Mughal stronghold. Its main attractions are Terraced gardens and series of waterfalls. Pinjore gardens also hosts the event of famous Mango festival every year.
