For supporting various disciplines of sports, Chandigarh sports department has established various sports complexes. These sports complexes are very well maintained and are equipped with all contemporary facilities. However, for most of these complexes, membership is open only for the residents of Chandigarh.

Lake Sports Complex:Established in 1961, it is one of the oldest sporting clubs of the Chandigarh city. Lake sports complex was previously known as Lake Club. It is spread over 10 acre of land.
Prestigious Tournament Held At Lake Club Are:
- Senior Asian Rowing Championship in 1989
- Junior Asian Rowing Championship in 1994
- It is the venue for various other sports such as Canoeing, Kayaking, and Sailing
- AITA series

Sector 7 Sports ComplexIt was established in the year 1960. It is built over a land of 6 acre. In 1997, North Zone Athletic Meet was organized here. It is the venue for several national tournaments.

Sector 42 Sports ComplexIt was established in the year 1988. It is famous for various disciplines of Sports that are supported here for their further propagation in Chandigarh. The complex has facility for indoor Boxing, Judo wrestling, Weight Lifting and Badminton. Coaching for Kho-Kho, Kabaddi, Hand Ball and Bridge is also provided here through respective coaching centres.

Sector 46 Sports ComplexThis sports complex holds a capacity of 500 spectators. It was established in the year 1975. It is spread over 4 acre of land.

Sports Complex Sector 56This International level sports complex has a seating capacity of 40,000 spectators. It is spread over a land of 23 acres.
Facilities:- Nine lane Athletic Synthetic Track
- Foot Ball ground
- Multipurpose hall is also proposed for accommodating indoor games like Volley Ball, Hand Ball, Judo, Wrestling, and Boxing.
