There is an important trade and transportation route between Chandigarh and Ferozepur. The same highway connects the cities with Ludhiana.  The Indian Government has designated the highway as National Highway No. 95 for their official documentation. The highway is a total of two hundred and fifteen kilometers in length. The highway starts at Chandigarh and moves on to Ludhiana. From there the road follows through to Jagaron and finally ends in Ferozepur.

There are several factories located along the road and a BBMB Colony. Gill Resort and other such rest stops are also located along the road for weary travelers to spend the night in. Factories and farms are common with all highways that are a major route and this one is no exception.

More Highways in Chandigarh:

One of the most populated trade routes in among the highways in Chandigarh would be the one that connects Chandigarh with Manali. The highway is designated as the National Highway No. 21 by the Indian Government. The highway stretches out for an impressive 323 kilometers. Twenty four kilometers are located in Chandigarh and the highway stretches through Punjab for sixty seven kilometers.

From there it enters Himachal Pradesh and follows through to 232 kilometers. The route starts from Chandigarh and goes through Kharar, Kaurali, Rupnagar, Ghanauli, Bharatgarh, Nirmohgarh, Swarghat, Nauni, Bilaspur, Barmana, Sundarnagar, Ner Chowk, Mandi, Pandoh, Aut, Bhunter, Kullu, Raissan, Katrain, Patikuhi, and finally ends at Manali. The highway is one of the most popular trade routes in history. It is also an excellent means of transport for tourists who are on their way to holiday in Kullu and Manali. The highway is also host to the YHAI Nature Study Base Camp.

The National Highway No. 64 connects Chandigarh with Dabwali. It runs only through Punjab and the length of the entire stretch is a total of 256 kilometers. The highway starts at Chandigarh and moves South West. It passes Rajpura and stretches all the way to Patiala.

It turns west from there and extends to Bhawanigarh, Sangrur, Barnala and Tapa. It reaches all the way to Bathinda and turns south to reach Mandi Dabwali which is located in the Sirsa District. All these highways are important trade routes in Punjab.
